Analgesic Effects of Salvia Divinorum

Several individuals across the internet have reported positive analgesic pain relief through the use of salvia divinorum.

One person suffering from lower back pain achieved relief through a mild smoked dose of salvia divinorum extract. He reported that it had an almost immediate pain relieving effect allowing him to complete a strenuous task that confronted him. The effects subsided in about a half hour though and his pain returned.

Another individual with chronic knee pain reported lasting relief via small daily sub-lingual doses of salvia divinorum leaves allowing him to walk about normally throughout the day.

Before salvia divinorum is banned from the world, let us hope that the medical community and researchers are able to legitimize this sacred herb.

If you know of any cases involving positive analgesic pain relieving effects of salvia divinorum, please post your story in the comment box below.

I have occasional bouts with sciatica and lower back pain. The other day I was working in pain and my friend offered me two small leaves of salvia. I was scared to even touch them, after what Ive heard about it in the news but she assured me i wouldnt get high if I placed them under my tongue for a while so I did.

Amazingly enough my pain was relieved in about 10 minutes. Don't know if the relief was just in my head or because of my anxiety of actually putting that stuff in my mouth but I do plan on trying it again the next time my pain returns.
