Man Arrested for Possession of Salvia Divinorum
In April of 2008 a man in Bismark, North Dakota was arrested for possession of around eight ounces of salvia divinorum which he purchased online.He was unaware that his state had made this divine leaf illegal and now faces potential incarceration. The police came to his house looking for his son but found salvia divinorum instead. He was charged with possession with intent to distribute.
This marks the first known arrest for salvia divinorum in the world's number one police state, the USA.
